For over three decades, Stephen DeHaan has dedicated his legal career to assisting personal injury and car accident victims throughout West Michigan.
Mr. DeHaan was born in Grand Rapids and is a lifelong resident of West Michigan. He graduated from Calvin College with a Bachelors of Science degree. Steve took many biology courses such as anatomy and physiology. After that, went to the University of Wisconsin where he obtained a Masters degree in physiology. Steve did extensive research in cardiovascular physiology and he authored several research papers that were published in scientific journals.
Mr. DeHaan then attended law school at Valparaiso University School of Law in Indiana. Upon graduation with honors in 1983, Steve became a member of the State Bar of Michigan that same year.
Mr. DeHaan has specialized in personal injury cases from 1983 to the present. He is not afraid to take a case to a jury. Steve has obtained jury awards for his clients in Kent, Ottawa, Clinton, Berrien and Newaygo Counties.
